Minka vs. Kate

Kate Hudson has been dating A-Rod for a little while now and they are anything less then discrete about it. You know me, I hate PDA and I am a little uncomfortable with the smooching and lovey eyes in public. Kate and Alex, they aren't hiding a thing. As of late Kate has been seen cheering for her man with her parents and with other Yankee wives.

Minka on the other hand has been seeing Derek Jeter since last year and you don't see them flaunting anything out and about. Minka roots for Derek from private seats. In fact, they've only been photographed together a handful of times.

A-Rod and Jeter supposedly don't get along. Some are arguing that this is why their ladies are giving each other the cold shoulder. Personally, I think they are just two different types of girls, with two different types of guys.

Hudson and A-Rod are public because they want to be. She wants to be seen with him, and he with her. To me this seems fake and insecure.

Minka and Derek are perfectly happy together. They don't have to be seen with each other. She doesn't have to sit three feet behind him.

Now you all know how I feel about my baseball guys, but given the choice...it's Jeter without a doubt. Besides, Minka is one of my favorites anyway, Kate really stood no chance.

Not My Type

When I was watching baseball at work last night, I made the remark that I don't like baseball players. I don't mean that I don't like all people who play baseball, I just mean that I don't find the build of a baseball player attractive.

This was met by "Are your crazy?" comments. I guess this means I'm crazy not to find A-Rod attractive. I do not find A-Rod attractive, for many reasons including how he is built and his dating history.

I wouldn't say I have an exact type, and this is not to say that if I met a baseball player I wouldn't find him intriguing. It just means that in the grand scheme of things, I would prefer a different sport, one that didn't take a guy for more the half the year. The life of a baseball player is ridiculous and I wouldn't make it. No holidays no days off and constantly worried about staying in the majors, not for me.
