Girl Crushing

Leighton Meester might be my ultimate girl crush. I mean the girl is stunning but she is also amazing. And you know how i know that...because she gets Sebastian. You know how I swoon for Sebastian Stan. I wonder if she even swooned.

But anyway. I love Leighton because she is young and beautiful and has the best clothes. I just want to be friends with her and I'll just drool over her boyfriend. It would be a completely non-sensical relationship and I would love every minute of it.

All Over the Duffster

Hilary Duff on Gossip Girl last night. Love, love, loved her. She looked adorable and I have always like her. But she pulls off gossip girl better then Blake. The only thing missing from the episode was Carter, Sebastian always does it for me. I needed a nice swoon...

Anyway, Hilary was brilliant and they styled her really really well. The only thing that I despise about Gossip Girl is usually the clothes. Especially during the winter. I live in Chicago and I would venture a guess as to say that it gets to be just as cold in New York as here. During the winter, clothes go out the window.

Function is key. Layers are key. Not for Gossip Girl though. Never. Why wear boots when you can wear heels right?

I have to admit though, love her top.

Oh Chucker

I really really want to watch the new season of Gossip Girl, but I know it's not going to happen. This makes me so sad.

You all know this about me, I love Chuck. I would sleep with Chuck if ever given the chance. But as you know, only Chuck, not Ed. Ed always shows his chest hair and dated the girl who played Vanessa. Chuck is with Blair, who is heaven.

I want Chuck. I love a boy who can pull of the purple. XOXO

I Wouldn't Fight It

It was revealed yesterday that in the new season of Gossip Girl, Chuck Bass will do his old friend Blair a solid by kissing another boy? Now that's a man who knows how to get what he needs.

It is no secret that I am in love with Leighton Meester. To be truthful, she's one of my girl crushes. As a girl you are allowed to have girl crushes. Men not so much. They lose cred when they have man crushes.

But that's besides the point. Chuck Bass is perfection. He is shameful and gross and therefore totally attractive for some reason. I don't know how it works but there it is. I don't ever lie on this blog so I will admit, Chuck Bass, I wouldn't fight it. Ed Westwick I might fight. That is still to be determined.

Duff Nation

Hilary Duff has been out and about lately dating hotties, looking fit and getting some great roles, most notably a role on Gossip Girl.

This picture is Duff on the set. And really folks, that is a dream outfit. I so wish I could wear that outfit. And to be honest, a couple years ago Hilary couldn't have worn that outfit.

Now, however she can pull of anything. She looks great. She has outgrown her awkward-ness and her hair is finally a natural blonde color instead of too bright. I am glad that she dyed it back to blonde. I was unsure of her as a brunette, with all that eye makeup and whatnot? I don't think it worked very well for her.

And look at her now. Talk about a comeback. So long Lizzie McGuire, hello Hilary!

The Sebastian Effect

After writing about Leighton I figured her man deserved some attention. Sebastian Stam. Yum.

Sebastian guest starred in Gossip Girl and now he is promoting Ahston Kutcher's newest project "Spread." He and Leighton are dating and it's adorable, and I love them. I saw him do an interview with Alexa and she got along with him so I figured it was safe to assume I would also get along with him.

Anyway, it got me thinking, with a name like Sebastian you're destined for something very good or very bad. Hence the Sebastian Effect. When you're name is Sebastian you must pick a side. Good or Evil.

Sebastian, star of NYC Prep a popular show on Bravo is the evil. I've never liked him but others have. Photos surfaced today on Perez of young Sebastian making swastikas with tape in a car with a friend who has a tape Hitler mustache. Tisk-tisk boys.

Sebastian Stan on the other hand, he is the best of both worlds, he looks like a bad boy (I swear it's the smirk) and he is a completely nice guy. He is the Sebastian you want to be with. I would only let Leighton have him. She is worthy.

I Wish...

I wish that I had The-N. Especially during the summer when the only good television is stuff no one else watches. More on that to come.

The-N. Television for teens. I am not ashamed to admit that I watch it whenever I have access to it. And you know why? Degrassi. That is my only reason. I am not pathetic. Don't judge me. It's my obsession. I laugh I cry, it's shameful.

I can't help that I like shallow television. When I can't get a good dose of Gossip Girl, book or movie I get bored. Then I turn to the old standards, Veronica, Bones- my girls know.

This weekend I really want The-N because a two hour long Degrassi, come on! It's bad enough that the show is only 30 minutes, but denying me of the movie which features every character and Perez, this is just wrong. Until I can somehow watch the movie, I will be wallowing and of course blogging, benefit from my pathetic life.
