the curse of the sequel

It happens to every great movie. It sells well so there must be a sequel. I don't care for this tactic. Not one bit. Every time the sequel bombs, and then there must be a third movie which is better then the second but still no where close to the first. Oceans Eleven, Pirates of the Caribbean. There is only one exception to this rule, which is the three Shrek movies which were all surprisingly good.

The Hangover, my last post was about how great this movie was...but a sequel to a story about four guys who have a crazy time in Vegas. Not exactly sequel worthy.
